September 26, 2007- SEO optimizers are reporting that Yahoo! is changing its search results. Yahoo! acknowledged this report on their Weather Report blog, today. Yahoo! says this is the first update since Dynamic URL Rewriting and they say that users should expect to see positive search results from the new algorithm update.

September 7, 2007- Netscape is dropping its coverage of social news on the main page and returning to the traditional news source as before. The social news source will move to another location that will soon be announced, according to Netscape. The move came from feedback that users generally associated Netscape with more traditional news although users did have a desire for social news.
